Hey Everyone,
It was there! We left home in the dark for the north to see the
famous Hoary Redpoll of Electric City, WA. Arrived to find the yard
already full of people. The bird seemed to enjoy having her picture
taken and being around people was okay. It seemed quite tame.
A few other good birds for the trip are: Two Northern Shrikes,
about 10 Rough-legged Hawks and 2 Cattle Egrets at Burbank and the
Lesser Black-backed Gull at the Walla Walla River Delta.
The biggest surprise was how few Horned Larks we found on the
trip through central Washington.
