Michelle and I were invited to the Seaside feeder this morning
where the grosbeak reported yesterday has been been coming.
The feeder owner is elderly and doesn't want a lot of strangers
in her yard so I'm not going to get specific about the location
(sorry).

It is pretty clearly a 1st winter male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK.
It is just beginning to get pink in the breast which contrasts
well at this point with whitish throat and belly. It also has
pink axillaries, black primaries with strong wingbars and just
an initial hint of a white rump.
