Yesterday morning and today in the morning I looked for the YELLOW-BELLIED
SAPSUCKER on 287th street in Kent (Auburn?) with no luck. As usual, though,
there were other birds to enjoy. All of the following birds were seen from
287th Street unless otherwise noted.

Saturday highlights:
Red-breasted Sapsucker
Merlin
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Peregrine Falcon (adult)
no unusual sparrows

Sunday highlights:
Saw-whet Owl (Lake Fenwick, tooting at 7AM)
Common Redpoll-5 feeding by themselves on birch catkins
