I went to the Walla Walla Delta today in hopes of seeing the elusive Lesser
Black-backed Gull, but saddly it did not make an appearance. We (Mike and
MaryLynn Denny, George Gerdts, Gene Hunn, and I) were rewarded for our
efforts though with a Walla Walla Co. first; A BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE, neat
bird for this part of the State. So now you have at least two reasons to go
to the Delta.
