This coming Saturday, January 19, I will be leading a Lower Columbia Basin
Audubon Society field trip to Lost Island Habitat Management Unit (at Votaw)
on the Snake River in Franklin County. We will meet at 8 AM in the parking
area below the Viet Nam Veteran's Memorial on the east side of the south end
of the Cable Bridge in east Kennewick and plan on returning by or before
sundown (4:30 PM). Birders planning to participate are reminded to pack
pack food and water for a day in the field. Car pooling is encouraged.
