Tweetsters,
Just to keep this season's stunningly widespread occurrence of Common
Redpolls up to date, Jan. 14 a small flock flew over the Snohomish treatment
ponds and another flock of five was working birches along Thomle Rd. south
of Stanwood. On Jan. 8 saw a flock of 25 in a birch a couple miles east of
Kittitas on Hwy. 10, others Jan. 9 in Twisp, a couple Jan. 10 just west of
Mansfield. Birch seems to be the consistent theme in all these sightings.
