Greetings. I am researching an article about English sparrows and had a few
questions that I hope someone on this list can answer.

I have been told that English sparrows and European starlings are not
protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Is this true?
If it is, does that mean that anyone can kill one?
Are there any other birds not protected by the MBTA?

Any help would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
David Williams
