Spent much of the day at Nisqually NWR. Highlights were:
2 Tundra Swans
1 "Aleutian" Canada Goose
1 Barrow's Goldeneye
3 Common Goldeneyes
3 Hooded Mergansers
1 American x Eurasian Wigeon hybrid
60 Ring-necked Ducks (largish number)
35 Dunlin
2 Thayer's Gulls at McAllister Ck Trail Ponds
1 Herring Gull
3 Western Gulls
1 first year GLAUCOUS GULL at the Nisqually River overlook
2 Peregrine Falcons
4 California Quail
1 Red-breasted Sapsucker
1 Pileated Woodpecker
1 Hutton's Vireo
3 Yellow-rumped Warblers
Several Bald Eagles hunting ducks.
