We saw five beautiful male western bluebirds just south of the Heritage Rose
Gardens (Newberg) area; also twenty western meadow larks, and a flock of
yellow rump warblers at the end of the dead-end road near the Willamette
River. The warblers were eating insects in some piles of hop vines. This was
on Wednesday afternoon.
