It was cold with intermittant mixed hail and snow and most
of the raptors were apparently still in bed. An adult
PEREGRINE made a run at the mix of ducks in the flooded
fields along Jackson Rd, but otherwise not many birds of prey.

At least 2 AMERICAN PIPITS and 4 LEAST SANDPIPERS were in
the corn stubbled next to the Aldrich Point parking lot.

A remarkable flock of 275 LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS were at
Ziak's Refuge.
