We have had towhees twice in 4 years on the Lewiston, ID/Clarkston, WA CBC.
I suspect they are regular in winter along the Snake R. having seen them
several times south of Clarkston, WA along the river. They are rarely at
feeders here on the Palouse (Moscow/Pullman & vicinity) in winter.
