Sightings for Thursday, January 24th

A MUTE SWAN was seen in a field of TUNDRA SWANS off of River Road near 68th
Avenue in Delta.

In a late report from January 22nd, a YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD made a visit
to a feeder in the No. 1 Road and Williams area of Richmond. It was in the
company of RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS.

Sightings for Wednesday, January 23rd

The WESTERN SCRUB JAY continues to be seen at its McDonald Place, Port
Coquitlam location between Rodger Avenue and Routley Avenue.

There have been no other reports.

Sightings for Monday, January 21st

There were two REDHEADS at Willband Creek Park in Abbotsford

In late reports for January 20th, a PEREGRINE FALCON and a MERLIN were seen
in the Mary Hill area of Port Coquitlam. At nearby Colony Farm was a
RING-NECKED DUCK while at Burnaby Mountain Park, there were an AMERICAN
BITTERN and a MERLIN.

Sightings for Sunday, January 20th

The WESTERN SCRUB JAY was again seen at its Port Coquitlam location.

A YELLOW-BILLED LOON was seen in the water off Jericho Park. Across the bay
at Kloochman Park, West Vancouver were a flock of SURFBIRDS.

At Maplewood Conservation Area, North Vancouver were 7 COMMON REDPOLLS.

An AMERICAN DIPPER was at Noons Creek Park In Port Moody.

From Roberts Bank, 300 BRANT and an EARED GREBE were seen.

At Reifel Bird Sanctuary were an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, a BLACK-CROWNED
NIGHT-HERON and a SWAMP SPARROW

Sightings for Saturday, January 19th

The WESTERN SCRUB JAY continues to be seen at its McDonald Place, Port
Coquitlam location between Rodger Avenue and Routley Avenue.

At Ladner Harbor Park was an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER. An AMERICAN KESTREL was
on Deltaport Way in Delta. Nearby, at Roberts Bank, there were 38 BRANT
while at Brunswick Point, there were 2 PEREGRINE FALCONS.

At the Point Roberts Marina was a MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD.

There were 6 PIGEON GUILLEMOTS at Brockton Point, Stanley Park and there
was
a CRESTED MYNA at Columbia and 2nd in Vancouver.
