Since the winter 1994-1995 (last complete wintering of the SBC in Merja
Zerga area), the species has been watched only once with certainty in
Morocco:

At least 1 on 11th Feb 1998 in Merja Zerga seen by M. & A. Parent.
Datum accepted by the Moroccan Rare Birds Committee (MRBC), see
BERGIER (P.), FRANCHIMONT (J.), THEVENOT (M.) & la Commission d'Homologation
