Hello Tweeters,
Very interesting happen this now.We had the Hutton's Vireo sitting on the
Suet feeder. He is only using one particular feeder who got the perches. This
is fourth time this morning. As the Vireo was feeding, there comes the Adult
male Anna's almost hitting the Vireo. The Vireo flew of,but there was the
Hummingbird going on to the suet taken three licks. From there he went on to
the smal window feeder where i have the fine crushed Peanuts ,he took smal
bites from this too.On this feeder there is Cardinal with two chickadee
painted on the plastic. So is this bird attacking the red Cardinal on the
feeder?I think he is ready to breed since he also going high up in the air
weird behavier about the suet.Patrick this call ,there was a Sharp-shinned
Hawk in our front yard, catching a Junco in mid air. This is the explanation
we did not having to many birds this morning.Instead going on long trips,it
is also fun watching our yardbirds. We this reading "Hummigbirds Their Life
and Behavier"There are four species of North American Hummingbirds can eat
on sugary sap found on holes from yellow-bellied Sapsucker fruits and
berries ,and also on differet occasion eaten sands. It would be nice if some
of you birders what got hummers now if there had similiar behavior by
winter Anna's
