Colin Thoreen recently posted about a snowy owl at 32ave and 91st st in the
Wedgewood District; I sent the posting to an exuberant friend and got this
reply:
"I saw it, I saw it!!!!!! It was in the trees that are where the ravine
starts behind 43rd and 85th (I saw it from my back deck). I went outside
cause the crows seemed to be kicking more of a fuss than usual--and there it
was in one of the fir(?) trees--it was kinda far away but it was so distinct
against the green."
As I recall, there was also one reported near the Seattle Audubon office
last winter.
