A few years ago, we heard about idiots doing this in San Francisco. I
didn't know the idea had spread to this area. Long ago, we banned the
"dreaded cat thread," and I have no intention of starting it again, except
to say that you folks who live in the Tacoma and Seattle areas might
consider doing some strong lobbying for laws that would put an end to this
business. The people who are stupid and ignorant enough to do this ought to
be . . . well, think of several painful things that could be inflicted on
various parts of their anatomy. But at least some intelligent legislation
would help.
