Hi!

I don't usually post on Tweeters , but I do enjoy reading the posts from
others.
I could have easily done the same thing, Patricia. In fact I had thought
about sending a post asking how birders deter cats from sitting on the
ground looking up at the feeders & suddenly jumping up, hanging onto the
feeders. It is a problem I have here which when I am home I shoo them away.
Oh well. What happens when I'm not at home is something I can't stop from
happening.

I have beautiful Finch, Sparrows, and occasionally a couple Stellers.
There's one type of bird I'm not so sure about what it is... it is little,
has blue on it & black. Has white streaks around the eyes and if I remember
correctly a yellow breast. Could anyone tell me what bird this could be?

Oh...I also put out a Suet block about a month ago & the next morning I had
a back yard full of Starlings...I didn't like that so I quickly got rid of
the Suet block. What type of Suet block does not attract Starlings?

TIA,
Janet
