Tweets,
Following Ryan Shaw's directions, at 6:20am this morning I observed 2
owlets, (they are quite large), and 1 adult Great Gray Owl exactly 9.4 to 9.6
miles up Biscuit Ridge Rd. The adult owl was bringing in breakfast and the
young owlets were hungry because they were quite noisy. They were just off
the road, (right side if you are going up the road), and they would fly short
distances, (snag to snag, stump to stump), while I walked up the road with
them for about .2 tenths of a mile (estimate).
I never left the road and observed them for about 1/2 hour.
