Subject: common grackle in Othello

This afternoon there was a male grackle in Othello, sharing lawn space with
Brewer's Blackbirds in front of the Taggares office. On the ground it
looked like a common, when it flew the huge tail gave it a bigger
appearance. Go north on Broadway (west side of Othello) to just south of
the McCain potato processing plant. I did not see it on the way back into
town 1 1/2 hours later, nor did Bob Flores see it when he went out.
Probably hiding in a tree when we went by.
