Fox Creek forest north Boundary Saddle Mt State Park, Clatsop Co., OR
July 6, 2002 0500-0730hr

Neal Maine arranged for keys into the Fox Creek side of Saddle
Mountain to do our annual MARBLED MURRELET census. I saw at
at least 7 more likely 9 individuals coming into the forest and
7 leave. The total count from the two observation positions was
at least 11.

Neal Maine and Steve Warner also saw two COMMON NIGHTHAWKS which
I did not get to see from my vantage point. Neal saw 3 nighthawks
in the area yesterday.
