Birders,

Yesterday (June 5) Ryan Tomlinson and I went for the Chestnut-collared
Longspur near Wells Gray Park. We left Kelowna at 3 AM and drove about 360
KM to the location near the Nakiska Ranch, N. of Clearwater. Unfortunately,
we did not find the bird. We stayed at the location for nearly 4 hours with
no sign of a longspur. Discouraged, we left the area and birded Wells Grey
Park and nearby roads for the remainder of the day.
