I'm on digest mode, so forgive me if I'm repeating anyone, but
here are a few more good lyrics...

Scott missed a couple of the bird references in "I've Got a Name":
"Like the pine trees linin' the windin' road
I've got a name, I've got a name
Like the singin' bird and the croakin' toad
I've got a name, I've got a name
....
Like the north wind whistlin' down the sky
I've got a song, I've got a song
Like the whippoorwill and the phoebe's cry
I've got a song, I've got a song
And I carry it with me and I sing it loud
If it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud"

Also, there's this from Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's Judy Blue Eyes Suite:
"Chestnut brown canary
Ruby throated sparrow
Sing a song, don't be long
Thrill me to the marrow!"

And the chorus to Stevie Nicks' "Edge of Seventeen":
"Just like the white winged dove...
sings a song ...
Sounds like she's singing...
whoo...whoo...whoo
Just like the white winged dove...
sings a song...
Sounds like she's singing...
ooo...baby...ooo...said ooo"

Jim Croce's "I've got a name" sings about the "Phoebe's cry," as well as the
"croakin' toad." Scott Ray
