Subject: Least Flycatchers in Pend Oreille County

Inlanders,

I have now come acrossed three different aspen thickets on the reservation that hold breeding pairs of Least Flycatchers. I found a new location last week. In addition to these three locations, there is a fourth location where I have seen them, but no breeding evidence has been observed (probably used the area for migration only). The areas that I have been surveying are only a very small part of the Pend Oreille Valley, so there are probably many more colonies in the county. They are definitely more common in the valley than I had previously thought.
