Adding to the fast-growing list of regional Odonata books, a new field guide
to the Odonata of British Columbia and the Yukon (Canada) is now available.
This is a small 96 page book, illustrated with colour photographs, intended
as an introduction to the order, and designed to help students, naturalists
and other dragonfly enthusiasts identify species in the field. It covers all
the 88 species known to occur in the region. I have to admit, it's
underpriced, especially given the good exchange rate many other currencies
get on the Canadian dollar. Lucky you! Here are the particulars:
