LOL. I don't have any trouble admitting that I had my head buried
between the speakers for the whole summer that the song in question came
out!! And I loved every damn minute of it. But I am in complete
agreement with Gordon - pretty hard to imagine a birdsong analogue for
any part. As Roger C. mentioned, maybe the ascending organ arpeggio
motif with a Swainson's Thrush but even that is iffy.
