To any one who is interested I just got back from a two week birding trip to
southern CA. and will give more detail to anyone who is interested. Went to
the Salton Sea and seen Yellowfooted gull, Gull-billed Tern, F. Whistling
duck, Laughing gull. Brown crested flycatcher near Palm Springs, and Island
Scrubjay and Xantus's Murrlett at Santa Cruz Island, Blue grosbeak near Santa
Barbera. The trip to Santa Cruz Island is a tough one to do some pelagic
birding since the boat is a 30mph catamaran that does not stop for birds.
