Hello Tweets,

Today my mother and birded the general Ocean Shores area in search of
continuing early fall shorebirds at several locations, but in general
shorebird numbers continued to increase and diversity was very good with 16
species of shorebirds observed during our day at Ocean Shores. It appeared
that the very large numbers of Western Sandpipers observed on the 10th of
July have moved on or dispersed and spread out to different areas,as numbers
of this species were much lower. My mother and I joined Paul Lehman,Bill
Tweit, and Bruce Labar during our morning visit at the Ocean Shores Jetty
among other birders that Paul had on his WA tour, which ALL seemed to enjoy
our state during their stay that extended into British Columbia and ends
tomorrow on a pelagic trip out of Westport. We also ran into Kevin Aanerud
at a few various locations with Ocean Shores, while he joined Paul Lehman and
others.Weather conditions were quite good, but rather stiff winds persisted
after 10am and remained throughout the day,and low clouds persisted as well
making viewing conditions during our morning visit to the Ocean Shores Jetty
more difficult at times, but skies cleared but low clouds formed again late
in the day along tehe immediate coast.

Overall our day at Ocean Shores was very rewarding with NO main rarities, but
good bird diversity. We began our day at the Hoquim STP,then continued to
Ocean Shores where are first stop was made at the Ocean Shores Jetty then we
continued our loop at several main locations checking many areas during
