Hi, I am a lurker, popping up to mention that I have also seen a
BROWN-HEADED COWBIRD baby that was being fed by a HOUSE FINCH. Can't
remember whether the FINCH was male or female -- this was several years ago.
It was very, very obvious, though, as the COWBIRD baby was twice the size
of the FINCH! This sighting was a couple of years ago in the Spanaway area.
