my birding doldrums shall be filled with the agony of writing my
dissertation, defending it and then moving to NYC! i should be in
place near central park (if the great bird in the sky smiles upon
me, that is!) so i can begin my NYC birding career with east coast
autumn migrants ... hrm ...
