Hi Tweets,

On July 16th, 2002 at about 8:00pm, my wife was enjoying the last rays of
the sun and heard a Common Nighthawk fly over our house on the North End of
Tacoma. Since we had heard another Common Nighthawk on July 8th, at about
the same time in the evening, we're wondering if they are starting to
migrate south or if they may be breeding down on the tideflats. The bird
was flying from the tideflat area in the direction of the Narrow's Bridge.

Heather, Bruce LaBar and I observed several Common Nighthawks on July the
4th, 2000 over the North End of Tacoma, flying in the same general
direction, but it was in the late afternnon.

A neat bird to have on an urban yard list.
