Ian,
Never had the doldrums to date. I've been birding many years and still marvel
at the common, regular birds.
Went up to the ice caves out past Verlot today with my niece and enjoyed Vaux
Swifts, Cedar Waxwings, Common Yellow Throats, Yellow Warblers,
White-Crowned Sparrows, Hairy Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker, Swainson's
Thrush, Common Ravens, American Robins, Rough-Winged Swallows and Stellar's
Jay. Yesterday, I saw 2 Osprey perched on a tree over by Snohomish and a
Barn Owl earlier that morning around 4:45 a.m.
