Lydia, how about simply calling it The Thrush, which does
meld well into a lyric. It can be referred to as the
western thrush, or far west thrush, or Pacific coast
thrush, and the word "varied" can be used variously in the
lyrics to further complete the image. Birders, at least,
will get it, and a little mystery never hurt a song.

Good luck,
