Hello Ian and tweeters. We got our CBC a week ago.And i tell you this is a
rip off.For instance we participated in Washington on three counts that
comes up to $30.00 It supposed to list you name in print. It is $5.00 a
person. The CBC only listed the compilers of each count,so where our money
went?Than onother issue is Washington and Oregon combined There are no
number of birds listed only highlights for instance the invasion of the many
Redpolls and the Hoarys are listed. The write up was one page edited by Mike
Patterson.I like to hear something about this issue from Wayne Webber, since
he been keeping tract of all count's for years.I also mention ,that our
Audubon here in Tacoma payed for our issue. That is realy not the point
here,i rather pay $10.00 and recieve the old format. This issue got 112 pages
from 666 the previous year2000.Every one of the birders going to be
disappointed in the change, and preety soon not to many birders will
participate in the Christmas birdcount.
