Friday, July 19, 2:23, PM. Hi, this is Paul Cousins calling in a report for
Kevin Aanerud. At noon on July 19, on Friday Kevin had an adult CURLEW
SANDPIPER at Lake Crockett at the Wanamaker Road access. If you need more, or
specific, information on how to get to the Wanamaker Road access please call

Saturday, July 20, 5:36, PM. Hello, this is Ian Paulsen, at 842-2352. Just
got back from Crockett Lake on Whidbey Island. And as of 2:15 PM there wasn't
the LITTLE CURLEW. Nobody has reported it since yesterday afternoon.

Sunday, July 21, 5:17, PM. This is Larry Switters, (425) 392-9161. Yesterday,
Saturday about 2 o'clock in the afternoon we were pleased to run across a
pair of BURROWING OWLS, complete with burrow. This was about 2 miles
southeast of the Gorge concert Amphitheater. If there is anyone who would
like this adventure give me a call and I will give you specific directions to
the burrow. Also, about 300 yard northwest of exit 143 of I-90 with a flock
of PEEPS there was a DOWITCHER, probably a LONG-BILLED. That's it. good
birding.

Sunday, July 28, 2:29, PM. Hi, this is Steven Mlodinow. Today, Sunday, July
28th there were two BLACK TERNS at Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. They
seemed to be attending a nest. There was also a brood of LESSER SCAUP at the
industrial wastewater plant near Vancouver. And, there was a YELLOW-HEADED
BLACKBIRD at Ridgefield. PURPLE MARTINS seemed to be small numbers throughout
the Post Office Lake, Ridgefield area. A couple BUFFLEHEAD and 30 or so
RING-NECKED DUCKS. That's about it. Good luck and good birding.
