Saturday evening on the dike, looking over the lake, there was an Eastern
Kingbird just north of the gates into the lake area. What a surprise! We
also heard at least two bitterns pumping and saw one of them. Both
yesterday and today, flying by our house on the Columbia River, was a Green
Heron.
