After our pelagic trip on Saturday (group of 8 birders), we stopped at the Rock Candy Mountain site to look for Mountain Quail....we heard them a couple of times but never saw them....they seemed to be at the bottom of a brush pile which had been pushed over the side of road c-4000.....got to see a couple of Hermit Warblers....the directions in Ryan's previous e-mails were very helpful....

Ryan, thanks again to all of you from Westport Seabirds for the pelagic trip on Saturday....we enjoyed the trip, even if a little rough, particularly the birds and the 4 Humpbacks...I look forward to seeing the results on your Web page.....
