I wrote a while ago that I saw a crow being very persistant in hanging from
a hole underneath an eave of a starlings nest trying in vain to get a
fledgling starling. I have this year and last year witnessed crows diving at
and chasing down fledgling starlings. I have even seen crows pressure an
adult starling with food, which the crow was after, and every time the
starling had take cover in a bush or something like it was being chased by a
cooper's (I wish!). It's on surprise to me to hear of these events and see
them myself. But they aren't very long term and all the people that have
wrote about crows flying birds into windows in my opinion is VERY rare.
