While walking up to the gravel road to see the Blue-Grey Gnatcatcher in
Hardy Canyon I managed to find a hummingbird nest with what appeared to
be a Caliope Hummingbird sitting on eggs. The nest is on the right-hand
side of the road as you walk up the hill, just in the area where the line
of scrub trees ends. It is in the crotch of branches in a small bush,
about 10 feet off the ground and 10 feet off the trail.

I just thought I would mention the site, in case anyone else wants to
take a look before the young are hatched and the hummingbird is gone. I
