This person contacted me wanting someone to do a presentation on birdwatching
for the Edmonds Kiwanis Club. I thought that maybe someone on the list would
be willing to help her and offered to post her request. I hope this is a
permissable thing to do here.
"The Sno-King Kiwanis in Edmonds, Washington meet every Friday morning at
7:00. They are always looking for speakers to give presentations to the club
members. The meeting goes from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
"Young Children, Priority One" has been the main focus of Kiwanis
International for several years now.
We would love to have someone give a presentation about backyard birdwatching
and/or bird feeding to our Kiwanis Club on a Friday morning (approx. 20 min.)
in June, July, or August (but the sooner, the better)? I have become very
interested in birdwatching in my front yard (I have about an acre) since some
friends gave me a couple of feeders (I soon bought a couple more!).
Hopefully, some of the Kiwanians share that interest.
Since we are a non-profit organization we are unable to offer our speakers an
honorarium.
A timely response, either by e-mail or phone, would be greatly appreciated.
You may call me or my husband, Art, at 425-334-9594, after 6:00 p.m. or
425-418-5968 (Art's cell) or e-mail me at apst at earthlink.net.
Thank you for your time.
Pam Stutsman, on behalf of Sno-King Kiwanis, Edmonds, WA"
I hope someone can help her out.
