Hello Tweeters,
It was few years back ,When Patrick took me to the Quincy Sewage Ponds.This
used to be a Hot Spot for Shorebirds.We went in from the back way as i
remember.But we did not getting to far,as we walked the dike,we was
costantly attact by all this Black-necked Stilt's.There was so many you
could not count them.There all made the alarm call and circled us so we know
we was desturbing this birds,as there proable was nesting there.I been not
back since than,but never i forgot all this birds with there weird call.If
there would be only a few of this birds,but as i was seeing, this was a
large colony.I wonder if any birder had the same experiene as we did.I must
look up the date since i took some photos in flight of this birds.But never
again i experienced that many birds of this species again.But so much i like
to see this birds,i would not for some reason go there again,for feir this
would happen again,and maybe this big birds would land on my head.
