Hi Tweets!

I need some help with a bird song/call. Tonight about 9pm, I was standing on my deck in my backyard (open with perimeters wooded) and heard a loud bird "sound" from a large bush that I swear sounded like a bird's imitation of a cat! I was literally startled by the sound! There seemed to be a "chip" type call in between these "sounds". As I peered in its direction through the ever-dimming light, it popped up out of the bush onto a branch, but I could not see it well enough other than to know that it was the bird making the sound...as it performed for me again and then flew away. I would love to hear any ideas on the ID of this bird!
