This afternoon at 4:30 there was a gorgeous male LAZULI BUNTING at the north
end of the East Meadow, which flew over to the compost piles. Also, there were
about 20 BAND-TAILED PIGEON, the first large grouping I've seen there this
spring. In the deep woods there was at least one RED-EYED VIREO singing.

And a reminder that my walk THIS WEEK will be WEDNESDAY at 6:30 a.m. Next week
will revert to Thursday. The reason is so we can get an early Thursday start
to head over for the WOS Okanogan conference this weekend.
