If a recording is ever made of this and other birds
in the area, I can make sonograms.

In 198-something, Alan Contreras and I had a bird in
LaGrande (eventually rejected by the Oregon BRC) that
was singing a distinct "wee-bee-oh" song. Birds at
Malheur regularly do a three-part "ritts-bee-oh". It
has since been concluded that the Malheur birds are
part of an interior form of Willow Flycatcher that
more regularly sings a 3-part song.

This bird is going to have to be recorded to be accepted.
The human ear is much imprecise to be depended upon in
matters related to empidonax siblings.
