Hi Tweets,

The White-winged Dove has not been seen by anyone at the house north of
Kittitas since Monday evening.

The Little Blue Heron also seems to have moved on.

I tried for both of them this morning with no success. I talked to the guy
who owns the fields around the marsh on Ringer Road and he allowed me to
walk through the pasture to scan the entire marsh. No heron. The east side
of the marsh is vivible from the Canyon Road. It is possible that the heron
is still there but staying out of sight. Evenings might be the best time to
try for it because it roosts in the trees and would be more visible.

The Blue-gray Gnatcatcher is evidently getting harder to find, also. I
guess the excitement in this part of the world is dying down. As of June 7,
the Common Grackle on Birchfield Road was still there.
