Ian and Tweeters -

I've seen Tree Swallows doing this exact same thing with a feather at
the Montlake Fill. As for sliding . . . I've witnessed Galahs (a type of
cockatoo) in Australia sliding down a galvanized roof, just for the fun of
it!
