In the past two years I have seen American Dippers in the city of Seattle
while watching returning salmon runs in the fall...both at Pipers Creek in
Carkeek Park and at Longfellow Creek in West Seattle. Other folks have
confirmed these observations. The only time I see them is during the salmon
return.
