My family and I took a boat trip around Protection Island on Saturday.
There wasn't a whole lot of bird action but we did see a couple of
immature bald eagles, 10-15 breeding plumage tufted puffins, many
rhinoceros auklets and guillemots and dozens of harbor seals. It was a
beautiful day to be on the water.
