Just a quick note on these two birds. I arrived around 6:30AM at the location of the Ritzville Alder Flycatcher and stayed until 10AM. Although I was able to located the thicket mentioned concerning the Alder, and I did find a more brightly plumaged flycatcher with a more notable eye-ring at the base of the thicket, it never opened its mouth to sing or make any call notes whatsoever. I walked all the way to the no trespassing sign, and worked my way back and stuck around. But I never heard any notable calling.
Hopefully I can get some info on this New Alder and track it down.

At the end of the afternoon I ended up at the Grackle location, very few Brewers, and starlings both were feeding young, but no grackle, and it was raining off and on.
I will be submitting my list later today...... Vicki Biltz Bonney Lake
