Yakkers,

Early this morning (18 June), Ellen and I had nice looks at the Blue-gray
Gnatcatcher in lower Hardy Canyon, about 100 yards uphill from the
now-famous Ponderosa Pine. It was singing feebly. We saw and heard only one
bird.

We heard a Least Flycatcher calling repeatedly in the Trembling Aspen copse
about 150 yards downstream from where the lower Hardy Canyon Road begins
ascending (south of the creek, near the base of a Serviceberry-dotted
hillside. This seems to be a location I often find Least Flycatchers.

Ours was a short walk, lasting about 45 minutes. We noted:
