Lazuli bunting singing sustained bursts of song at Green River Natural Area Thursday evening June 20

May be of interest as King County possible breeding record? Not sure how many June records there are for this species in the county & if this is significant or not. I notice there was a recent lazuli record to the northeast of here on the birdbox.

Bird was on the bicycle trail along the southern border, near the short southern entrance into the area near 212th st in Kent. Saw no other evidence of breeding other than its presence in June & that it was singing. - Marc Breuninger 206-361-1654
